This collection of data meets the needs of everyone who uses Google Earth^® to analyze data and information with a geographic content.

Caution: These files are designed for Google Earth^® but not for Google Maps^® since the latter does not fully support the particular structure of next levels display described below.

We converted to formato KML (Keyhole Markup Language) administrative boundaries with top resolution of Municipalities, ZIP Codes and Census Blocks updated to the latest administrative division available. These are the same data that we make available also ShapeFile format .

In order to maximize ease of use, we place special care in adapting the data on the characteristics of Google Earth®. In particular, each file contains three layers of information that are displayed as the user approaches the ground:

• The higher administrative border (Municipality in the case of ZIP Code, the Province in all other cases)
• The administrative boundaries of the file object (municipalities / ZIP Codes / Census Blocks)
• The names of the administrative units of the file object (municipalities / ZIP Codes / Sections)

In this way the information is shown only at the relevant zoom level, making the screen reading easy and enjoyable.

The release format is KMZ (WGS84 geographic coordinates) on a provincial basis (a file for each province).

The Territorial Extension of Purchase determines the price of the product:

• for Province: base price
• for Region: 20% discount (vs the base price)
• for Nielsen Area: 37,5% discount (vs the base price)
• Total Italy: 50% discount (vs the base price)
