CTB LifeStage Profiling makes it possible to identify - for each individual (both customer and / or prospect) - the "stage" in the evolutionary process of his / her family and its composition.

It is a statistical tool which assigns the probability that each individual (given his / her socio-demographic characyeristics and census block of residence) belongs to one of the evolutionary "stages".

To each stage brings along not only specific socio-demographic characteristics but also drivers of choices and life styles which are linked to the needs of the family and its members. Those choices and needs heavily influence financial and social behaviours, mobility and entertainment choices and many other aspects of everyone's life.

CTB Lifestage Profiling was developed building on the know-how CTB has accumulated over the years in building micro-territoriali statistical databases and specifically it represents the universe of Italian families falling into three main categories:

• Singles: unipersonal Families
• Couples: Families with just two adult members with no parental tie between them
• Families: Families made of one or two parents and children (both adult and minor)

CTB LifeStage Profiling divides the universe of Italian families into 19 clusters along two key dimensions: presence (or lack) of children and age (of parents / adult members and of children).
